Risaralda

Risaralda is a friendly department rich in natural, cultural and human diversity; which progresses with its coffee landscape, its mountains and valleys. It offers its visitors populated centers, spaces that conserve nature without stopping the development and progress of the municipalities and cities, as is the case of the Otún Quimbaya Flora and Fauna Sanctuary, where some of the bird species that live in Risaralda are protected.

Pereiraalso called the city without doors because of the friendliness of its people, was founded between the valley of the Otún River and the central mountain range. Living in it for its inhabitants is like being in paradise because of its excellent weather and the mix between urban and nature. Santa Rosa de Cabal also known as the City of the Araucarias, because of the trees that adorn its main square; it is the gateway to the Los Nevados National Natural Park (PNNN), in this municipality you can also enjoy the famous chorizos santarrosanos, known for their exquisite taste and quality. One of the most outstanding attributes of Santa Rosa de Cabal are its abundant hot springs, which you can enjoy in any of its spas.

In the urban case you can find the Casa de la Cultura, which has a pre-Columbian museum with more than 150 Quimbaya pieces; also visit the Botanical Garden Alejandro Humboldt, which houses the Science and Technology Park. Finally, you can visit the La Nona Forest Reserve, which supplies the aqueducts of the upper Cauca and has trails.

Caldas

This is one of the departments that make up the Eje Cafetero, is located in the midst of towering mountains. For its variety of thermal floors you can enjoy a pleasant temperate climate and its climate ranges between 18°C and 24°C. Here you can enjoy ecotourism activities, admire diverse species in the Los Nevados National Natural Park and enjoy a delicious coffee as in the rest of the region.

Salamina is one of the municipalities that is part of the Coffee Cultural Landscape and is part of the Colombian Heritage Towns. Its houses preserve the colonial architecture, with mud roofs, balconies and doors made of wood. It is also one of the most beautiful in the country for its tourist, historical and environmental value. Among its tourist attractions visit the Bolivar Park, where there is a basin brought from Paris, a replica of the luminous water fountain that is in the Plaza de la Concordia in the same country.

Watering places, Caldas; is also part of the Network of Cultural Heritage Villages. Its population is distinguished by the elaboration of aguadeño hatsbaskets and bags. It is recognized as the Capital of the Colombian Pasillo for celebrating the National Pasillo Festival. Quindío
